JK and I drink tea before going to bed. Honey vanilla chamomile, or HVC, as we call it, to be exact. Tonight he turned the kettle on and asked when we started this. I don't remember. Maybe it started when I gave up coffee and drank ginsing tea every morning (That didn't stick - today a latte or cafe au lait is necessary for a modicum of daily functioning.) And then he wondered if other people drink hot tea before bed. I think we are just plain wierd. Or maybe we are actually 60 year olds in the bodies of 30-somethings...
BBU: Storytime was a bust today, he wouldn't sit, there were too many new kids there. I just followed him around trying to put books back on the shelf in the correct order after he pulled them off. At home afterwards, he took a nap, but it was too early and too short, so he was a fussbudget. He wasn't interested in lunch's peanut butter and marmalade sandwich, but he did like the marmalade. He was difficult to entertain all afternoon, and we had made plans with his friend N to go to the Science Center. We just had to wait until N got up from his nap and came over. I nearly called N's mom 3 times to see if maybe he had already gotten up from his nap. But I held out, since she said she would call. And finally she did. And the kids enjoyed the museum and the playground nearby. And then at home again, JT was crazy until he fell asleep shortly after 9. I am tired.

scary that my little sister is a thirty-something; i remember when that was just a TV show about old folks. oh well, i like tea at night too.
We are *all about* the hot tea here--used to do HVC like it was liquid crack rock until I got preggers. LOVE it!
