Adventures in Camping at age ONE

We went camping. We had a nice evening, and JT ate his first toasted marshmallow.
He also woke up about 12 times during the night making the nursing sign and saying, "mumi" (sounds like moo-me and means he wants to nurse). Any night weaning suggestions? It was extremely windy in the morning and sand and grit got everywhere. JT was really cute, but difficult - he wanted to be walked around or play and we wanted to get the tent packed up and avoid having him get sand in his eyes. Here he is "stirring" in the tent and showing off his diaper cover (wouldn't stand still to have his pants put back on) and his happy walk. Posted by Picasa

Here's a link to a good article on night-weaning:

I'm not at that point myself. Let me know if you decide to try it. I just can't take crying, especially if he's teething or something. Then I just feel bad for the little guy.
