The Little Farmers

Today JT and his friend N both wore overalls passed down from their (slightly) older friend O. It was cute. JT was fussy and needy at the playground; it must be the teething. Or chalk it up to growing pains... or maybe he knew that he had to go see "Aunt Linda" this afternoon. But she gave us good news: JT no longer needs to go to physical therapy!

This weekend we went to a large toystore (the one with the giraffe mascot) for the first time in many years. Although we were amazed at all the toys they had, we all held back, and JT picked out a pink doll stroller (now a stuffed dog stroller), and that was that. (His other choice was the Leap Pad book-thingee, because he could run the "pen" over the page and make it talk.)
I would like to blog about educational toys, the heritablity of IQ, transportation and babies, and raising a boy as a (quasi) feminist, but those topics will have to wait AGAIN! But please stay tuned... Posted by Picasa

I love the hat! That is a very cute picture.

We go to the toy-store-which-must-not-be-named sometime. It's on the way home. The problem is that it's on the way home. Now I'm terrified to go there because I don't want him to want to go there every time we drive by. After we went there the last time, he pointed it out for the next day or two. I bet BLT would love a doll stroller, though!

Have you given any thought to a kitchen? I'm thinking of getting one for BLT for his birthday (yes, it's 5 months away), but I can't decide if we really have room for one.

Oh, I mailed you the book, so look for it. I only had it in my car for about a week before mailing it. When I went to the post office, I found out that the lobby is open 24 hours, so I could have mailed it ages ago! (They have a machine to mail packages in the lobby.)
Thanks for sending out stuff back! I feel so behind!
