Flat Bread

Dinner yesterday: grilled marinated veggies over lettuce with a preserved lemon dressing and Gruyere toasts on flat bread. I tried a quicker no-knead bread recipe that you are supposed to bake in a loaf pan. Well, my pan was soaking so I just dumped the dough in a round pan and it spread out and got very flat. (If I would have read the accompanying column, I would have known that it would not rise up at all in a larger pan. Honestly, I thought it would be flat - but not this flat!) Mr. Burli still managed to almost finish it off tonight. The toasts have Gruyere, Parmesan, a little mustard, some garlic and parsley - toasted in the oven for about 5 minutes.
