It is good to have friends to go to the desert with and ride steam engines and visit train museums. And it is nice when mama can stay home and try and do some work. (That was Sunday, after we went to breakfast at the Mission.)Update: I think I will pick the Mama Lola book since it got the most votes (2), although it is 400 pages long and my course only lasts 5 weeks or something crazy like that. But summer session students are glutons for punishment. :)
I just read about Toms Shoes, by the way, a company that makes (somewhat ugly) shoes and for each pair they sell, they give a pair away. Neat idea. You can google them if you want, I am too tired to insert a link. Apologies.

did the little ones like the giant turbines? or maybe they were too focused on trains. i think they are a little scary.
