Scheduling

Time it is a flying. I have now met all my students (nearly 300 of them) and have no idea how I am going to be able to remember their names nor which off-topic stories I have already harangued them with while trying to capture their attention.
Now it is a matter of scheduling to get everything in!
Every other Thursday is still Farmer's Market day. Here is our latest haul:

Fluffy is getting good at laying eggs. We ate the first ones today - I forgot to take a picture. They tasted like fresh cut grass and gentle breezes. Oh, who am I kidding, they tasted like eggs!

A single man (this now makes 3 neighbors who are single men) bought the house across the street with the swing. Since we don't know if his swing will stay or whether he is amenable to having neighbors swing on it, JT requested his own rope. The neighbor girl and another neighbor boy have also tried it out. We had to make it helmet-required since occasionally a kid crashes into the tree. Maybe we will upgrade from just a rope to a little circle swing.

The variegated lemon tree has several flowers.

Here's a sneak peek of the front yard. We finally got the flagstone for the new path (to the driveway), Mr. Burli repaired the little wall next to the gate and Mr. Burli also painted the walkway yesterday. The sad 'Charlie Brown' orange tree has a few new leaf buds, so maybe it will recover from its near death in the clay soil of the back corner of the yard. (Which reminds me, I need to replant the area next to it and in front of the bay window - any suggestions? That area will be on drip connected to the orange tree drip, so it will get watered in the summer once or twice a week.)

And since this post has absolute no cohesion, I will switch subjects again. The other day I finally admitted I must start going to the gym again since I need to lose 15 pounds. Yikes. How can that be? So, I will try and stick with the NY resolution of more exercise. (Was that one of my resolutions? If not, it should have been.) Today I killed 2 birds with one stone: more family time and more beach time!

Hmmm... single neighbors...

I also have about 15 pounds to go too, but read my latest post. Wearing the tight clothes, not a good idea :)

i liked your idea about no music, but thinking of running like swimming. the gym always has sports or politics on, but maybe i'll try that outside.
glad y'all got to the beach.

Do green eggs go with ham? The front yard project is getting lush! and almost done! I pulled a pic of JT and mama that looked a lot like Tiny and Mama! Glad you can go to the beach--I am ready to go again.

Well, I might have more than 15. :) Exercising doesn't seem to be cutting it, so I might have to move to diet modification. Eek! If only I had some green eggs!
