Apparently, I am extremely boring, because I am having trouble coming up with 25 things about me. Hmmm, I do like the water. We finally went on a whale-watching cruise the other day. What? You can't spot the whale in the picture? We saw 3 gray whales. And a group of dolphins. None of the pictures came out very well, the whales were just sort of spotted humps. But I enjoyed the boat ride. It reminded me of my trip to the Cayman Islands. Sort-of. I went there for an underwater archaeology course many years ago. I loved going out on the boat, enjoying the warm breeze and the wonderful warm water. (I never needed a wetsuit. I just dove in my suit with a t-shirt.) Here in San Diego, the water is a bit chilly (maybe 55 degrees) and the wind was breezy. Perhaps one day we will sail around the world. I hope we stay in the warmer parts...

I think it's next to impossible to get good shots of the animals on a whale watching cruise! But that never stops anyone from trying. :)
i think photos from whale watching tend to end up like cloud interpretation - this wave is really a dorsal fin, tail fluke, etc. or maybe it's just the loch ness monster on vacation.
