hmm, am i on number 3 or 4? i am guessing 4. i am in the midst of grading (i had three papers on the armenian genocide, by the way, and one on the k*k%k, which was not so good, and next up are 'thomas jefferson and slavery' (not too promising), 'slavery in brazil', 'from animal rights to child protection,' and ... lots more. oh, goodie. and then there are all the exams to grade and final decisions on the students' participation grade and forms to bubble in, and ...
anyways, the thing about me: i like gardening-type stuff, but i really don't have too much of a green thumb. i also routinely forget the names of plants. (does anyone know what kind of tree this is?)

oops, i did the same error as my students - put the comma outside the quotation marks. maybe i should finish only half my pile of grading before going to bed...
This small tree with little pink trumpet blooms seems to be aptly called a pink trumpet tree!
Our two pink cherry trees are blooming now with the white bradford pear and a few scraggle pines between them. Spring! Ah, yes!

Best wishes on the grading. Your paper topics seem more interesting to grade than mine - heroes/gun-slingers/outlaws of the Old West (about 20 of them are on Jesse James and another 20 about Doc Holliday).
i think i'd trade grading for writing right about now?
