Following on the heels of last week's visitors, Auntie J and her extremely nice employee, P, we picked up our next visitor at the airport today. Can you guess who?And yesterday we picked some fava beans. JT enjoyed prying and popping the beans out of their fuzzy homes.
We then ate them (and the inside outer 'skin') in a stir-fry with a brown rice mix and dumplings. They were delicious.

Love the "grandma" sign! Sooooo cute. I bet you all are having a grand ole time. Is JT staying home from preschool all week long then?
Are fava beans similar to limas? We've been having stirfries with giant limas and they are surprisingly good!
i think i should come to dinner at your house. the farmer's market opened near work last week, but i haven't had time to stop by and see what's good eating here.
