This Easter we bucked Austrian tradition and went vegetarian - roasted veggies in various colors, a cheese plate, and my Easter-tradition of home-baked Italian bread. For some reason, the bread didn't rise, and I almost chucked the dough, but then I let it rise some more in the oven, and success was quite yummy!
JT had mac&cheese for lunch and we ate at luppertime, so he had no desire for our lucious spread, but he did like the bread.

what would have been the Austrian tradition? goose? looks good except for the asparagus, sweet potatoes & carrots (now you see why i am not such a good vegetarian, oops - i'm trying, i do eat spinach now) ... care to share the bread recipe?
