The Bathroom, Currently

So there isn't really anything really wrong with our bathroom. (Although a plumber told me today that there is water under the bathroom; it is quite damp. I should spray under there with bleach and water. He came by to give us an estimate on scoping the sewer line - Mr. Burli's new idea. He thinks we should try and figure out why parts of the house are sinking and maybe it is the sewer pipe before we do any of the radical repairs. Radical, you ask? One (the most expensive) involved some sort of piers attached to the outside of the stem wall. I haven't figured out what that would look like yet. The next more expensive repair called for injecting a foam substance into the ground in the sinking areas. The last 2 options called primarily for putting in new smart-jacks or piers under the house and ignoring the sinking stem wall. But back to the bathroom...)

The walls are a sort of pistachio pudding-ish color. The mirror matched with fake antique gold accents painted on it. I painted over the frame in white soon after we moved in. There used to be a medicine cabinet where the mirror is (the drywall is 'sunken' and under the window is evidence of a heater unit, perhaps?

Things I like about the bathroom currently: the shower curtain. Counter and storage space (although none of it is overflowing or really needed too much).

I think whoever tiled in here was going for a tumbled stone look using cheap materials. They did a poor grout job and the faucet is installed incorrectly (there are two 'stop' positions on the knob). The plumber also said the sink drain was done incorrectly - it is like a roller coaster rather than having a nice fall. But we will be replacing that anyways. I don't like the shampoo holder-thingee (gets rusty quickly), so we will put in some niches in the shower area.

So, current plan:
Switch the sink and the bathtub so we can have the soaker tub and not have our heads next to the toilet.
Maybe put a ladder shelf unit at the end of the tub (where the little table is now - the kitty litter is underneath). We have no plan for the kitty litter, and no other room in the house for it. Poor kitty will have to hold it for many years, I guess.
Toilet stays the same, but with a 'whisper close' seat cover-thingmabob. (Never slams! The cat enjoys watching it slowly close.)
The window qill be switched out for one that is 2 feet wide (rather than 30 inches) - the window is poor quality and does not latch properly anyways, and we need to move it a bit to get the tub in that corner and not have to deal with a window in the shower.

And the other stuff (some mentioned before, but I need to make a list for myself):
Kohler Brockway sink with possibly these faucets . (Someone made a pintrest board for the sink, with various color ideas, in case you are really bored or need to waste time during work.)
Americh Bow soaker tub (Yikes, I already BROKE the budget and we still don't have a floor!)
Some kind of rain faucet? for the shower and also a hand-held removable shower head (I actually like the cheap one we have now.)
Radiant heating under the floor tile.
Maybe insulate the bathtub to help retain heat?
Some kind of schoolhouse-like sconces and overhead light.
Two medicine cabinets above sink (or just one big one?) There will be a ledge as well to put toothbrushes, etc. on - the top of the beadboard edging will extend into a shelf over the sink.)
A good fan.
Shutters for the window like we have in the dining room and kitchen.

Timeframe: who knows? We still have to figure out how to stop the house from sinking! (It isn't really sinking right now, by the way, and at the most it is 1.5 inches lower. Not terribly disconcerting, but that causes a lot of cracks and stress and repairs!)
