Lost an hour and gained some pictures

Losing an hour doesn't seem like much, but combined with a (great) visit with my sister and therefore a slight slackness on my part in terms of grading, and the last 2 weeks just flew by in a haze of coffee and jellybeans.
However, this weekend has been quite Irish (rainy, windy, cool), and I have some time  to load these photos inbetween bouts of ABC train puzzles and book reading.

Next to the regualar eggs is our first double-yolk egg from Carmel. Ouch! I read that these occur seldom, but they are most likely when the hen first starts laying and her body is still figuring out the process.
Jenn takes a peek at one of our garden gnomes.
Jenn and JT on the hunt for sandollars (and crabs).
The beach was amazing. The low tide made the beach seem endless, and we got there early, so we nearly had the place to ourselves.
Before we left for lunch, we got a little jumping in.
This jumper was mroe difficult to photograph.
Mr. Burli finished the courtyard. I am thinknig a small bench would be best in the back.
Fava bean time! (The 5 foot  tall stalks are all now bowing to the ground from the rain this weekend.)

And just whem I weas thinking we could take a break, the backyard gets dug up. (Adding irrigation and lighting pipes, then the flagstones get put in here, too.)
Chickens like dirt.
Tiny drew his first train cars. (Luckily he didn't mind my terrible renditions of engines.)
Aunt Jenn brought us luck at the beach. I have never collected so many sand dollars at once.

Wow, impressive posting--many sand dollars found by JT and aunt, trains drawn by Tiny, flagstones set out by MrB, a really big egg from the chicken and beans from the garden... so glad to see what you all are up to!

Looks like summer! Very impressive post indeed. So the giant egg was a double yolk? That is some egg!
