Kids, getting older

Tiny is terrible, once in a while. JT didnt' really hit the 'terrible twos' until he was three. Tiny likes to run away when you say things like, come here or pick this up. He also sometimes forgets to pee in the potty. We had to give the marble-run a bath the other day. He loves that toy as much as JT did at the same age. He is slightly afraid of the chickens, but he knows their names and likes to get their food out.

JT has designated this pair of pants as his 'chicken pants' - he was quite excited when all three jumped on his legs at the same time the other day. He is less excited about them pooping on him.

"Tiger" or perhaps "Lion." (He asked for a tiger. The face-painter kept calling it a lion. Tiny also called it a Liger, which are real animals, you know. I teach about them in my bio anth class.)

He never lets his age hold him back.

And his love for cake comes naturally.
We had fun at Tiny's babysitter's daughter's birthday party - it was a Tangled theme, so we watched the movie. JT loved it, surprisingly, since lately he has been all about the Power Rangers (the old shows you can watch on netflix). Today he had to come along to a meeting and I convinced him to give Harry Potter a go. He has decided that it is really good. Thanks goodness for reading!

How cute. I know another Samuel who liked cake. Glad the boys are getting to like the chicks. Love, GmaH / Gtgma

Not sure if I would want the chicks pooping on me either, but they sure are cute! The floor in the kitchen looks really good too... makes me miss having the house, well until I think about how much work it is!

Cousins LT & DT have been watching Power Rangers, too! What Harry Potter should the boys stop at? I heard they get scary after about number 3. Is that true?
