How does your garden grow?

[Bloom on a tree at the park. I don't know what kind of tree, but it is pretty.]

We are in the purple season here in SD - the jacarandas and the agapanthas are in full bloom.
Meanwhile, our bean and gourd teepee is growing by leaps and bounds.

[Today.]
Our garden is doing its job - we have eaten chard, chard, and more chard, a couple large zucchinis, strawberries, and the tomatoes are ripening, just in time for us to leave.

Who will tend your garden while you are away?
I have a little garden patch along the side of my garage. Tonight I had zucchini and onion from the patch. I have a few green beans and 2 tomato plants, but it will be another month till the tomatoes are ripe.
Great pictures of the boys!
Love, GmaH

Chris, the flower above reminds me on the Australian bottle brush plant. Looks very much alike!
