Today I am trying out a different library closer to the German preschool. But, so far, it is not promising. It is very small, with lots of low bookshelves. And on one side there are small chairs set up in a circle for storytime, which is starting in 5 minutes. Near those chairs are some tables and one outlet that was occupied. And besides storytime is about to start.
So the librarian kindly pointed out another free outlet. On the other side of the low shelves, next to the picture books. A small table with crayons and "The Mini Pages" setting on it. A kid-size table and chairs. So now I have to try and work with kids and parents picking out books, a storytime (that can be heard throught this small space), and a very short table and chair.
A mom just pointed out to a small girl that "there are crayons" on my table. Argh!

so that was a fun(ny) mental picture of the little tables and all. for my prize, i think i'd like to know how the cherimoya was. i read about them in one of Jonathan Kellerman's books, which was set in your part of the woods, but i've never even seen one that i know of.
