Someone here moved on to double digits. Since his actual birthday was Superbowl Sunday (we had friends over, snacks (stuffed mushrooms, 'pizza cups' and smoked almond/feta dip, all very yummy) and cupcakes, but no party, we went all out on Sunday. Well, somewhat all out. He and 4 friends played laser tag in the morning and then Mr. Burli brought them back to our house. Some of the parents came over and with the great weather, we sat around outside and enjoyed steak (at the boys' request), turkey burgers, feta-quinoa salad, a green salad, veggies with lemon-dill dip, grilled potatoes and green beans with lemon yogurt, pancetta and anise, and of course, an ice cream cake. I am pretty sure it was a good birthday!
