The summer officially started with the last day of school:
Then the boys and I packed up for our 2nd annual trip to Big Sur. Mr. Burli stayed home to work so he could take off later in the summer.
Camping with a toddler is not easy, but luckily we were there with several friends so we survived, even if we were all quite dirty after a week of no showers.
The only accident occured the last evening when P. managed to fall on the asphalt in the campground and scrape up his face.
We returned home and did usual home stuff: JT fixed his favorite breakfast and started a programming course online with a company called YouthDigital. The class is teaching him to make his own Mod in Minecraft.
We went to the neighborhood 4th of July parade - down one street, turn around, back up (I don't know why it can't at least go around a block!)
And we hung out at home.
And the kids took swimming lessons (here JT is working on his bellyflop)...
Next up: Austria!
