A heatwave hit San Diego this weekend, so instead of going to the Wild Animal Safari Park, where we would have been cooked in 100 degree temps, we ended up at Coronado Beach again.

But first Grandma and I were treated to a decorated table and 2 thrones (set up by JT who even carried the baby in to the dining room himself and set up his baby rocker) where we enjoyed pancakes made by Tiny and Mr. Burli.

It was a great day, even if we were all a bit exhausted afterwards. Yesterday (Monday) the heat was so oppressive I couldn't get any work done. Normally we have "May Gray" here, and about a week earlier we had rain, so its been a strange month so far weatherwise.
Today JT brought home the first installment in the next great American novel...
