This year we ran out of time to make our own pinata, so we headed over to "Casa de la Pinata" (where you can buy pinatas - it was about 8 dollars for ours - and get your shoes repaired) and picked out one to take home and fill with little toys, raisins and some candy. He sort of wanted the big cheese (which was NOT cheese but a popular kids' cartoon, you can guess which one). He declined the horse or the giant cowboy booot, and eventually settled on the duck. Sweet. Two years old is a very sweet age.
Tiny's babysitter made the cake - chocolate with strawberries and chocolate frosting (and lots of fondant)!
It was perfect!
