Friday we headed to Graz to visit some friends (and stopped at a chocolate factory, which was not in operation for the summer but the shop was open). We had a great time, but unfortunately Mr. Burli's mother wasn't feeling well when we left and is now in the hospital. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon.
We are also in the midst of some other family drama, of which I am verboten to speak, but it involved a visit to a lawyer Tuesday morning and the farm and other family members. So, there you have it. Our vacation is not really a vacation, but that is alright. Family is important and I am trying my best. The kids, well, JT that is, can not understand why we aren't off doing vacation-y type things all the time or why one aunt is always crying or why Mr. Burli spends most of his time speaking to adults and ignoring him. His German is improving, however.
And since it is so picturesque here (and once in a while we get to eat some good food - IF the kids cooperate) it is hard to be grumpy all the time.

I'm not even going to try with the Germen. Although, kasenplatzen is universal, I am pretty sure.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!
