Non-Stop Fun

Well, I may be out of normative time, but we still have a lot of fun times around here! (Normative time = time the university thinks you should need for completing your degree. I just got the letter that mine is now officially up. Yes, I can stick around, but I have to pay 2 grand a quarter. Well, not if I am a teaching assistant. But if I just want to enroll and not teach!) But to not digress, here are some pictures of our busy weekend. JK set up his "big trains."

JT fell asleep at the midway.

Really all we needed was a grocery cart for entertainment -- although the boys were so loud that we had to end the fun. I could hear them yelling all the way across the store! Why is it that you put two two-year olds together and they have a screaming match? And they think it is hilarious. (Which reminds me: today I sang the "On Top of Spaghetti" song and JT LOVED it. He thought it was the funniest song ever. This from a kid that has never eaten spaghetti or meatballs!)

JT and his cousin read "Hug" together. That was cute.

And tonight we celebrated JK's birthday. JT chose purple and white frosting and helped drizzle it on. JK made his "famous" spicy shrimp linguine, and then JT pulled all of his books off the shelf, dumped out an entire box of straws and generally wreaked havoc.

Cousins having fun together makes me smile! So alike and so different!
And JT's chair has really shrunk! Like Little Bear/Goldilock's?
love you, gma

I think they still had fun in the cart after we nixed the screaming.

Lucas went in a car cart at the supermarket on Monday. Now that's he's been introduced to the fun of the car cart, it will be hard to back to the old school! =D
