Okay, we enjoyed it, too!
Since hardly anyone was there (which was oddly disconcerting), we were able to pet the dophins, starfish, sea cucumbers, and anenome, as well as have choice seating at the pet show, which was quite amazing.
The trained cats followed the dogs around, ran in and out of hidden doors, up poles, and one kitty even pulled himself across a rope upside down (paw over paw). Our cats' special talents consist of batting treats around and maybe jumping up to catch flies twice a year.
Speaking of cats, Diego helped harvest a kohlrabi from the garden. Either we will eat it raw, dipped in cheese fondue, or baked with zuchinni, tomatoes, and potatoes. JK has asked twice if we are having kohlrabi soup, and although our leek and fennel soup last week was extremely tasty, I don't think we can sacrifice our kohlrabi (only 1 large and 2 small left in our mini-garden) to the stick blender quite yet!

Okay, if you have to leave your cat behind when you move, can I be the first one to make the "sans diego" joke?? :)
