Some phrases still confuse the little guy - there's "hold ya" which means hold me, and then "come on, JJ" which means come on whoever else, in this case, LT. They are finally at the stage where they interact and laugh and play together, albeit not for sustained periods of time, but still it is a nice change. Yesterday we went to dinner at our friend's and JJ and his friend O also had a grand ol' time laughing and copying each other.
It is a welcome change to the clinginess and fussiness that rears its head throughout the day. Today we tried to take JT to get his hair cut. The place even had little cars to sit in and a train video (it was my first time watching T the Train, that blue one, and that was one strange video), but alas, the kid would just not submit and wouldn't even relent to having papa hold him. Another couple brought their twins in and JT watched them get their very thin hair trimmed. Their mother said, maybe that big boy wants to go. Big boy? He was 6 months younger than them! (They were small.)
We ended up buying scissors at Target. Hmm, maybe he will get a bowl cut.
