JT has discovered that eating with a spoon is much messier - and therefore great fun - if he does it himself. Yesterday he fed himself breakfast and then dinner. He pointed at my cup and spoon and insisted that he have a cup and spoon, too. (He is very communicative.) Today we tried out his new "scrubs". He still got messy.
JT's favorite foods at the moment:
apple pieces
pizza bites
English muffin with cheese
pear
mac and cheese
applesauce
yogurt
peas (each one squished individually before he pops it in his mouth or throws it on the floor)
and chex mix (the chex pieces and an occasional pretzel stick when mama isn't looking).
