Prague, 2012

London to Prague.
First day: Aquapalace. A perfect way to start our trip.
There were slides indoor and out, a pirate ship, a wild water channel, pools, bars, hot tubs. We stayed away from the sauna...
With jetlag, you can stay up really late. The place cleared out around dinnertime and stayed open till 11. This is the wavepool at night.
The next day - exploring Prague.
Tiny loved this sign.
IN an attempt to make sight-seeing child-friendly, we looked for playgrounds.
The 'mini-Eiffel tower.'
Great views from above.
But not so high that you can't just take the stairs.
More ice cream, of course.
And another playground.
Furnicular back down the hill.
"We can just walk there" (Mr. Burli's famous last words.)
Restaurant with model trains to deliver drinks! (Definitely worth the walk.)
Czech food. Pretty much like Austrian food.
By lunchtime it had started to rain, but fortified by model trains, we pushed on.
Tiny missed the clock.
The next morning: on the road to Austria...

"we can just walk there" is the bane of many a family outing... i'm tempted to dig out my photo album (from 1992?! when i went to Czechoslovakia?!) now. i definitely missed the drink service via model train though - that was very cool.

I want to try the water park - well maybe have a model train deliver my drink too. Looks like fun! And am I the only one who noticed how much you look like Steph in these pictures... maybe that means we are all starting to look like Momsie these days...
