we had a great visit with my sister s, her husband, and their 2 kids. it was so nice to see them and hang out and the kids had way too much fun packed into 2 days. i just stayed up much too late trying to write a lecture on art in Ghana. I still didn't finish grading the exams. i feel like all i am doing is working nights, staying one step ahead of the students (barely), and this week each day is a minimum day (done at noon) because of conferences. i just have to survive and not embarrass myself too much.
