Another Day, Another Dollar

I can't seem to get through the vacation photos, so I will have to take a break and return to summer later. It is now fall, which means pumpkin spice lattes! Santa Anas, heatwaves, school, Fall Ball (baseball), futsal (indoor soccer on a basketball court, I am on a women's team, Mr. Burli plays on a men's team), paino lessons, etc. Here is the pictorial:

Got the piano fixed! 2 "e"s were sticking.

The littlest guy keeps getting bigger. He can say "train, chicken, the end, Da-da (for papa), "l-m-n-o-p" and a few other things. Not mama. Oh well.

The chickens are molting, They apparently think it is fall. Even though we had a heatwave and it was at least 88 degrees in our house at night for 2 nights.

There is a lot of driving everyday. We are currently listening to "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." JT said it was not so interesting (and then proceeded to get the book out at home so he could find out what comes next.)

We've been working on some backyard improvement projects.

There has also been some playing at the park.

And some baseball! (He scored 2 runs in this game.)

This morning a desert tortoise appeared in the yard. "Rex" is currently in a box. Now what?

so what happened with Rex? I hope it's cooled off a bit. I had to turn on the heat this past weekend; it was 60 inside and we were all a little chilly. happy fall sports (and sports watching)!
